I'm dancing to make a difference for sick kids!

When a child is injured, or diagnosed with a serious illness, it affects the whole family. Lives can be turned upside down, and it puts families under enormous pressure. For many families, it can feel like it’s impossible to hold it together.

That’s why I’m joining Ronald McDonald House Charities to Dance for Sick Kids this year.

I’ll be making a move every day for the month of May, to raise money that will help families stay in a home-away-from-home, access emotional and financial support, and more. From day one in the hospital and for as long as it takes, your help ensures that families don’t have to navigate the challenges of illness or injury alone.

Please support me by making a tax-deductible donation to my challenge. Your generosity will make sure that Ronald McDonald House Charities can support even more families with a seriously ill or injured child when they need it most.

Day 22

Friday 23rd May
Danced in a desperate attempt to defrost myself so I wouldn’t burn in the hot shower 🧊🔥 Solid method for thawing most of the body of the body but didn’t quite do the job for the icicle toes

Day 21

Thursday 22nd May
Nelson presenting me with his most prized possession for keeping up the dance moves after a morning of riding 🐎💃

Day 19

Tuesday 20th May
Tricks class was cancelled last night so back to dancing by the fire in the living room to keep myself warm 🥶🔥

Day 18

Monday 19th May
Danced my way to a horse clinic yesterday. There’s nothing else that consistently has me excited to be awake on a cold early morning. Surprised I could still move with the amount of layers I had on 🧥🥶

Day 17

Saturday 17th May
Used up 100% of my social battery catching up with some awesome friends today but still had just enough physical energy for a mini lounge room boogie when I got home

Day 16

Friday 16th May
Pups snoozed through my dance performance again today 😴 may need to up my audience engagement 🤔 starting to think these living room dance parties may become a regular thing. Great way to finish off the day!

Day 15

Thursday 15th May
Dancing for these gorgeous pups again after work today 🥰

Day 14

Helped this little man do some dancing yesterday. Practiced lowering his head and moving his body in different ways throughout our ride. He prepared himself for his model shot by decorating himself with brown glitter straight after his bath 🤦‍♀️

Day 13

Tuesday 13th May
Discovered the combo of fire place and music videos on the TV 📺 🔥 dancing in the living room at its finest 💃

Tonto showing off his cool new moves today 🎪🎤 got my dancing in here and there over the day today. The night routine groove time is still going strong

Day 10

Sunday 11th May
Big day of work PD so got my dance moves in on the drive in. No photo evidence because I’m a responsible driver 🫡 whole day of learning about Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder from the amazing people at NOFASD which was super interesting and informative! Ready to spread the word that there is no safe level of alcohol consumption during pregnancy 🤰 🚫🍷

Friday 9th May
Danced my way through my night routine. Definitely makes the boring tasks a little easier

Day 8

Thursday 8th May
Shoulder stands and unicorn socks

Day 3

Saturday 3rd May
Some lower energy dancing this time. Super tired day today but put some music on anyway and got my 30 minutes in
