HOW to get involved

Whether you choose to take on the challenge solo, with your dance studio, as a workplace team or hit the dancefloor with friends and family – you can dance to make a difference for sick kids and their families.

Our challenge is specially designed to be suitable for everyone! Whether you dance four times a week or you've never tried - it is all about having fun and raising funds! 

You can join us to Dance for Sick Kids from 13-19 May 2024, or choose a 7-day period that works for you! Commit to a time to dance each day and raise funds to support sick kids along the way.

Dancing not your style? Make a move on your own terms during our challenge week – swim, run, walk or wheel – get creative!

Raise Funds!

Dance to make a difference for sick kids like Ollie

Oliver was just six and a half when his mum Naomi noticed that he was covering one eye while watching TV and his eye had turned slightly inwards.

After numerous attempts to book appointments and inconclusive eye exams, they were advised it could be neurological.

Sadly, an MRI revealed it was a tumour. Ollie was then airlifted from Lismore to Westmead Children’s Hospital, where he was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a highly aggressive and rare form of brain cancer.

Thankfully, Ollie has been able to have his family by his side during his ongoing treatment. Together, the family has since called Ronald McDonald House in Westmead home for over 205 nights.

Baby Steps

30 mins a day

Wake up and dance or shake off the day with an evening dance party! Whenever you choose to dance, it's always more fun with friends or loved ones!

Groove and Move

60 mins a day

Try breaking it up throughout the day, or choose a 'power hour' of dance! Put your favourite playlist on and groove away!

Dancing Legend

120 mins a day

Legends to the dance floor - we see you! Whether you're an expert or just super committed to making a difference for sick kids, we are here for it!
