I'm dancing to make a difference for sick kids!

When a child is injured, or diagnosed with a serious illness, it affects the whole family. Lives can be turned upside down, and it puts families under enormous pressure. For many families, it can feel like it’s impossible to hold it together.

That’s why I’m joining Ronald McDonald House to Dance for Sick Kids this year.

I’ll be making a move every day for 7 days, to raise money that will help families stay in a home-away-from-home, access emotional and financial support, and more. From day one in the hospital and for as long as it takes, your help ensures that families don’t have to navigate the challenges of illness or injury alone.

Please support me by making a tax-deductible donation to my challenge. Your generosity will make sure that Ronald McDonald House can support even more families with a seriously ill or injured child when they need it most.

My Dance Diary

Variety of Dance

Wednesday 13th May

What a variety of music we’ve danced to. Maddison’s gone hard with some air guitar, sliding on her knees to Ballet and her best Irish jig. Some of the artists that have been part of our journey are Rancid, The Interrupters, Lenny Pearce, Mad Caddies, Rufus, Harry Styles, Danny go, Peter Combe, Karnivool, Kpop demon hunters, the Macarena, Michael Jackson. Just to name a few 😉 to think there was a time I honestly thought she wouldn’t walk again. Now she hasn’t stopped moving. A special mention to Harriet who has learnt to walk along the way and get her groove on with her big sissy.

Thanks to all the generous people who’ve donated to my challenge.

I wish you well, I am sure you will excel in your quest. Ronald McDonald House was recently used by family members. Using the facility truly helped them cope mentally and financially for a couple of weeks, during their harrowing time. I commend your efforts.
